Technicolor Wonder
I am assembling a coffee table book, which will feature photos spanning the last five years. Included in this special commemorative edition will be my original concept sketches and completed recolored technicolor versions of some of my signature images.
On the left is the original image, shot and released in 2009. On the right is the vibrant technicolor version which I just finished coloring last week. It’s pretty startling to see, very much like seeing classic Hollywood films restored into color.
I’m excited for these new versions to be released to the public! Stay tuned for more details on how you can order the book or postcard versions. The book will be a hardcover limited run with a full-color dustjacket and premium matte paper and printed by Blurb books.
What a transformation! They are both beautiful in different ways but like you said, it’s really like a classic get restored into colour, which fits with your aesthetic even more! Congratulations on the book.
